Cardiothoracic (heart and lung) services and treatments at Papworth Hospital are available to all patients eligible for NHS care. Government policy allows NHS patients to choose which hospital they receive their non-emergency treatment in. This means that regardless of where you live in England, you can choose to come to Papworth for your heart or lung treatment. Private patients, or patients not covered under the National Health Service, including international patients, are able to access Papworth’s services via our private patient centre, Papworth Clinic.
